The Casa di Caterina B&B is located in Monzambano, a town in the province of Mantova, in the heart of the enchanting Moreniche Hills, south of Lake Garda. This place is surrounded by nature and offers a rich combination of art, history, and gastronomy.
The property is very close to two of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Castellaro Lagusello and Borghetto, as well as the Mincio cycling path, which stretches from Mantova to Peschiera. Furthermore, it is a short distance from Sirmione, Desenzano del Garda, Peschiera del Garda, and Verona.
The B&B is housed in a country house dating back to 1800, which has been recently renovated. The three rooms of the bed and breakfast are located within this charming structure, ideal for those who love to relax in the silence and tranquility that only the hills can offer.
Our delightful Italian breakfast buffet offers a variety of homemade biscuits, pastries, and jams, fresh bread and croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt. Upon request, we can also accommodate vegans and those who are gluten, lactose, or egg intolerant. If guests desire, we can also offer an "international" breakfast with delicious local cold cuts, cheeses, and much more.
The selection of breakfast pastries includes both classics such as fruit or jam tart, apple cake, and chocolate cake, as well as specialties typical of our region like rose cake, Mantuan cake, St. Biagio cake, crumbly cake, St. Luigi ring, and "pebbles".
Our jams are prepared with the finest available fruits, such as apples, lemons, and ginger with cane sugar, pears and lemon zest, kiwi, apples, and vanilla, oranges and lemons, strawberries, peaches, and plums.
