This structure is immersed in the greenery of nature, a few kilometers from the main connecting arteries such as highways, airports, or stations. Cyclists are welcome, as I am one myself, and therefore have the opportunity to have tools to maintain the bike. Trecastagni, located in the province of Catania, sits at the foot of Mount Etna and is one of the municipalities at the highest altitude. The terrain is hilly and is surrounded by various volcanic cones of different ages and sizes (Monte Ilice, Monte Gorna, Monte S. Nicolò, Tre Monti, Monte Serra). The particular conformation of the surrounding territory, characterized by a strong slope, makes the position of Trecastagni particularly panoramic: the view ranges from the southern end of Calabria to the Gulf of Augusta, in Syracuse.
