The House is a historic building from the second half of the 1400s. It was the right wing of the government palace at the Catena port, belonging to a branch of the Gonzaga/Canossa family. In 1972, Osvaldo Trombini, a painter restorer, purchased and restored it using scientific methodologies. It became the painter's home/studio. The main part of the house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a breakfast room, and a terrace. The Green room is located on the first level and is 27 square meters. The Red and Yellow rooms are located on the second level and are approximately 23 square meters each. The Blue room is located on the ground floor in the former study area. It is a micro-apartment of 30 square meters, fully accessible to disabled individuals. Also on the ground floor is the art gallery of the house, fully accessible to disabled individuals. Each room is equipped with WiFi, independent air conditioning, heating, and mosquito nets. The house is equidistant and centrally located between Palazzo Te and Palazzo Ducale, a 10-minute walk from both. The free municipal parking lot "Montelungo" is a 7-minute walk away.
Green Room, located on the first level, 27.00 square meters, has two beds of 120x200 cm. It is made up of wooden coffered ceilings, terracotta floors, lime stucco walls. A large green painting welcomes the headboard of the beds.
The house is located in the UNESCO circle in the Fiera Catena district. It is the harbour district.
