The B&B La Casa del Monacone was created through the redevelopment of the old nineteenth-century convent next to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità. We offer our guests a welcoming kitchen, completely renovated, created inside the historic bridge named after the Neapolitan partisan Maddalena Cerasuolo, inaugurated by Joaquin Murat in 1809. A warm environment where you can enjoy a rich breakfast every morning. In addition, a terrace overlooking the suggestive elliptical cloister of the Basilica. We have 6 comfortable rooms: single, double, triple and family, all with private bathroom, heating, air conditioning, TV, minibar and safe. Services include elevator, internet point, free Wi-Fi in all rooms and terrace. The renovation project of the old convent was entirely designed in 2006 by the famous Neapolitan designer Riccardo Dalisi. The furniture was made through the restoration of antique furniture, the recovery of paintings and the addition of precious hand-drawn and handcrafted majolica tiles by Maestro Dalisi. The doors and wall sconces in the rooms, meticulously cared for, were produced by the creative workshop Iron Angeles. Here, ancient and modern blend wonderfully.
At the "Casa del Monacone", every morning we join our guests for a delightful breakfast, offering a wide selection of fresh products. You can enjoy freshly baked croissants and pastries, fragrant bread, crispy toast, cereals, salami and ham, cheese and processed cheese, butter, yogurt. Additionally, you will find espresso and American coffee, hot and cold milk, a variety of teas, barley, Nesquik, fruit juice, and water.
Not only do we take care of your breakfasts, but we are also here to help you plan your day in our wonderful city. We will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information to visit the most interesting places and recommend activities not to be missed. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are always available to assist you in the best possible way.

The Casa del Monacone is the result of a project promoted by the parish, which has decided to enhance an unused place in order to offer job opportunities and start a microeconomy in the neighborhood. This welcoming structure is designed as a bridge to promote exchange between the historically marginalized neighborhood and the rest of the city and the world.
The Bed and Breakfast "La Casa del Monacone" is located in the Sanità neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city. This district is full of history and interesting places that we recommend you visit during your stay. Among these, we suggest you take a guided tour of the Catacombs of San Gennaro and San Gaudioso, which are among the main tourist attractions in Naples and are managed by us, the young people of the cooperative "La Paranza" Gastronomia, which is located just a few steps away.. During your visit to Naples, you cannot miss the opportunity to taste a true Neapolitan pizza. Just a short walk from us, you will find the famous pizzerias in the neighborhood such as Pizzeria Oliva da Concettina ai 3 Santi, La Taverna di Totò, La Cantina del Gallo, Pizzeria Oliva da Carla e Salvatore, and Starita. As for desserts, we recommend you try the famous "fiocco di neve" from Ciro Poppella, a pastry shop famous for this delicious gastronomic specialty.
