Hi everyone,
My name is Massimo and I have been managing the B&B CASA DELLA MUSICA for years inside my house. This name derives from the fact that I am also a musician: I love life and art: The house has a wonderful view of Lake Como and is about 150 meters from the public beach where, if desired, you can swim: each room has its own balcony and lake view (except the Vivaldi room which can still use the common garden). The house is colorful and very bright, a combination that ensures a peaceful and joyful environment. Your day begins with a rich and tasty breakfast prepared by me from the early hours of the morning in the garden or in the common room (depending on the season), my natural good mood will give you a good morning. WELCOME.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STRUCTURE
Surely the best feature of the house is the lake view, the tranquility of the location and the very informal and, dare I say, familiar environment.
During your stay you will be able to consult a book in which I have written various possibilities of lake or mountain visits: moreover I myself will give you indications and advice: YOU WILL NOT BE BORED AND I ASSURE YOU
ROOMS
The rooms are air conditioned, equipped with private bathroom (with hairdryer and courtesy set), WI-FI, TV, mirror, suitcase holder, fridge, electric kettle with cups and PRIVATE balcony / terrace overlooking the lake.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of 11 travelers in:
1 "Double Large Balcony" room that can accommodate 2 people
2 "Double large terrace" room which can accommodate 2 people
3 room "Panoramic Triple Suite" which can accommodate 3 people
4 "Very Large Triple / Quadruple" room that can accommodate 4 people

There is disabled access in the room "Very Large Triple / Quadruple"
I will try to give you the information you will need according to your tastes and passions, as well as advice for dinner out or at home (having it brought directly to the B&B)
The breakfast is rich and tasty prepared in the common lounge or in the garden, it is sweet and savory, homemade cakes, croiassants, jams, coffee, cappuccino, tea, juices, puddings, yoghurt, eggs, cold cuts and cheeses of various kinds.. etc. etc..you will not leave the house with an appetite: -)

The VERDI Room is about 20 sqm: bright on the first floor, has the double option: two single beds or a double bed, the floor is parquet, large terrace with table and chairs and chairs overlooking the lake and mountains: satellite television , refrigerator, wardrobe for clothes. Private bathroom in the room with shower phone and bath towels available. In the room there is a large book (with photographs) translated into 4 languages (Italian, French, English and German) very useful and appreciated by my guests containing lots of information on places to visit, excursions, restaurants etc. etc. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast (continental or "Italian") prepared in the large common room or in the garden On request private garage in the house (8 euro per night): There are however 2 public and free parking spaces at 120 meters from the property. The structure is not adjacent to a busy road, so it is far from the pathways,. In addition, a large garden ensures afternoons or evenings outdoors without having to leave the house. For those who love the lake, for those who enjoy walking in the hills or hiking in the mountains, the area where I live is the ideal: there are lakeside villages where you can discover our beautiful lake or beautiful landscapes that can be admired from the hills and adjacent mountains. Mandello del Lario then, is an unavoidable stop for motorcycle enthusiasts because it is the headquarters of the famous MOTO GUZZI factory. Varenna (7 minutes by road) and Bellagio (20 minutes) are beautiful surroundings. At 25 km you can find Colico (crossroads for Valtellina), Valchiavenna (towards Switzerland) and the opposite side of the lake (Lugano). In short, they are places to visit and discover in person! Possibility to dine in a characteristic restaurant with a wonderful garden on the lake just 300 meters from the house or in a more modest restaurant 800 meters from the house. The MOZART room, (double or triple) is the jewel of the house; placed in the attic is large (55MQ) and bright, has two balconies of which one wonderful view of the lake and one, smaller, sees the mountain and the first sun in the morning that rises from this side. The private bathroom is equipped with phone, soap and shower. The room has a parquet floor, wooden ceiling, fridge, satellite TV and air conditioning: free wi-fi. Mandello (Olcio) "Lake view HOUSE whit 2 rooms" is located in the Olcio hamlet of Mandello del Lario, with a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. The house, being independent, offers guests great privacy. Outside, the garden, with centuries-old olive trees, is entirely at your disposal: the same thing also applies to the large terrace equipped with table, chairs, deck chairs and awnings, ideal for enjoying the sunsets over the lake over a cocktail or for outdoor dining. all these features make the structure a real jewel. IMPORTANT: For stays lasting from 4 nights there is a supplement of 30 euros for FINAL CLEANING of the house. THE HOUSE is equipped with every comfort and everything needed for an independent stay: WiFi, TV, A/C, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner. In the kitchen we find a hob, dishwasher, kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker and all the cooking equipment. The structure is completed by a garage (not very large) or a private external place, which has an additional cost of 5 euros per night. We are also located a few km from Varenna, the departure point for the ferries and only 500 meters from the OLCIO railway station which connects us to the center of the lake - Lecco - Milan - Sondrio The house is adjacent to my B&B business, this factor means that it can be at the complete disposal of my guests. Possibility of breakfast at the B&B with supplement: ask for information if interested.
My name is Massimo and I am a person who likes contact with people. Opening my B&B was the best choice of my life. In addition to this activity, I am also a musician: I conduct 3 choirs of fun style and I have been organist in a large church since 1991.
The best satisfaction is to be able to make the holiday special for my guests: from breakfast in the morning, to advice for excursions upon returning in the evening you will always find me smiling and available because, for me, it is a natural attitude.
