The House on Via dell'Albero belonged to a dear friend of my mother's: it is a splendid residence located within ancient buildings, immersed in a unique tranquility and equipped with an enchanting garden.. in the heart of Florence! In 2002, together with my family, we had the opportunity to acquire it and we made the decision to restore it.
We believe it is essential to respect ancient houses, as they preserve the memory of those who lived in them in the past. Therefore, during the restoration works, we preserved the characteristics that made it unique. In the central hallway, we discovered fascinating niches in the old brick wall and stones from the Arno River, hidden who knows for how long and evidence of a possible convent in past eras.
As nature and the harmony it brings lovers, we wanted to preserve its essence within our walls: for this reason, the rooms are named after the typical trees of our splendid Tuscany! In 2003, after a long period of restoration, the B&B Casa Corsi was inaugurated.
Since then, what we want to convey to our guests is a serene, clean environment equipped with the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay in Florence.
