Welcome to Casa Chilenne B&B - your refuge in the heart of the historic center of Cortona! Since Jeanette, Luciano, and their four-legged friends opened the doors in 2008, they have taken great pleasure in welcoming guests from all over the world. One of their greatest joys is witnessing their guests discover and fall in love with Cortona, just like they did. What makes them even happier is welcoming back the same guests year after year, along with their friends and family, creating joyful moments and happy memories together. We have 5 rooms available for guests, each with its own private bathroom. They are equipped with a telephone, air conditioning, and heating, SKY TV, Wi-Fi and LAN cable connection with fiber optic service for fast internet browsing, minibar, safe, and hairdryer.
Our delightful breakfast is highly appreciated by our guests and is freshly prepared every morning. We highlight the coffee from a local roastery along with tasty pastries, bread, artisanal cheeses, and cold cuts. The milk, yogurt, and cream come from the enchanting lands of Maremma, and we use eggs from our free-range chickens to prepare custom dishes for our guests. Every day, we offer both the classic Italian breakfast and the American one. We love to showcase seasonal fruit and traditional dishes. During Easter, we prepare the traditional "Colazione Cortonese" with typical sweet and savory treats, served with hard-boiled eggs and green sauce; during the grape harvest, you can find the delicious "ciaccia" with grapes, while during Carnival, "struffoli" take center stage, as well as "pandoro" during Christmas, along with other delicacies.
We serve breakfast from 8 to 10 in our cozy private breakfast room, at a specially reserved table for you. With prior notice, we are able to offer alternatives for almost all dietary restrictions. In the past, we have successfully found suitable solutions for celiac, vegetarian, vegan, and lactose-intolerant individuals. Please don't hesitate to let us know if there are any foods you need to avoid for breakfast.

We are Jeanette Wong and Luciano Polezzi (shown here in the photo with Carlotta and Daisy). I come from San Francisco, California, but have been living in Cortona since 1986.
Luciano is a true native of Cortona. Casa Chilenne was founded in 2008, driven by our desire to preserve this house that holds great emotional value for Luciano. In fact, it is a gift from a dear family friend, Alifer "Chilenne" Mancini.
Our goal in creating our Bed and Breakfast was to provide a place where guests could feel at home, with all the comforts of a hotel and the warmth of a friendly hospitality.
