The B&B "Casa Cantoniera" is a charming villa surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a small pool to cool off during hot summer days. This enchanting place has been completely restored using original materials and following strict energy-saving principles, ensuring a comfortable and sustainable environment.

Located just outside the city, in an area well served by public transport, access to the B&B is via a short staircase that crosses the wonderful garden.
The walled city and the lake are easily reachable on foot or by bus. Additionally, the property is located next to one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in the area, San Carpoforo, and is the ideal starting point for relaxing panoramic walks in the tranquility of Spina Verde and Baradello Castle.
The B&B offers its guests four bright, quiet and elegantly furnished rooms, creating a modern and clean atmosphere.
- The first room is a double with a double bed or two single beds, with a private bathroom located right next to the door.
- The second room is also a double with a double bed or two single beds, but this time with an en-suite bathroom.
- The other two rooms are double or triple, both with en-suite bathrooms.
All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, linens, hairdryer, soundproofing, air conditioning, free wifi, and, upon request, a baby cot.
During the renovation, special attention was paid to thermal and acoustic insulation, thanks to the installation of a modern forced ventilation system. This means that it is not necessary to open the windows to enjoy a cool and quiet environment.
Continental breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00 in the common room or, weather permitting, in the charming garden. You can enjoy coffee, tea, cappuccino with fresh milk, fruit juice, butter, jam, honey, freshly baked bread, croissants, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs. A delightful breakfast to start the day in the best way possible.
In the morning, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast that will give you the necessary energy to start the day. Among the available options, you will find fresh milk, a refreshing orange juice, coffee and cappuccino for coffee lovers, tea and herbal teas for those who prefer lighter drinks. Additionally, you can choose from cereals and muesli for a healthier option, fresh and toasted bread, freshly baked brioches, and an exquisite cake. Butter and jam, honey, and Nutella will not be missing to accompany your delicacies. If you prefer a savory breakfast, hard-boiled eggs and cheese will also be available. You can enjoy all of this depending on the season, either in the comfort of our living room or in our enchanting garden.

We have been utilizing our home as a welcoming bed and breakfast establishment since our son moved to the United States for work reasons.

The Cantoniera House is located just outside the city center, along the Giovi state road that leads to the highway.
It is conveniently close to the bus stop that goes to the city center, the new hospital, and the TRENORD train station that connects to Milan. The city center can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot.
Near our B&B, there are trails that start for hikes in the picturesque Spina Verde Park, which extends all the way to Switzerland.
