Casa Battisti is a facility managed by the social cooperative E-Sfaira, which provides Educational and Social Services for People (S.P.E.S).
S.P.E.S is an institute that traditionally focuses on the social and educational needs of families.
E-Sfaira is a social cooperative that has been assisting socially vulnerable women for many years, particularly single mothers and migrant women.
In the past two years, the cooperative has also operated as a type B organization, in response to the growing need for workplace support for women who possess valuable skills and abilities but lack the necessary knowledge and practices for effective employment (www.esfaira.it).
Casa Battisti is a women's employment project.
It offers accommodation services with bed and breakfast, as well as a solidarity work laboratory for women: a laboratory focused on the hospitality sector in tourism.
The women involved in the project learn to perform all required tasks (reception, concierge, cleaning, wardrobe, etc.) under the guidance of professionals.
This project involves socially vulnerable women, particularly unemployed or inactive women, single mothers, and migrant women, in a gradual path towards employment. The women involved learn all phases of the activity, experiencing a professional relationship that requires commitment, consistency, seriousness, and reliability. In this way, they discover their own abilities and resources.
