Our property is located in the charming village of Dudda, along one of the main roads of Chianti Classico, connecting the Valdarno region to the charming town of Greve in Chianti. We offer widespread hospitality, with bed and breakfast rooms or lovely apartments located just a few steps from the main building. At Casa al Chianti, you can enjoy a charming garden, a refreshing pool, a restaurant, and even a small shop run by our family.
Our rooms are located on the first floor of Casa al Chianti. They are simply and practically furnished, offering everything you need during your stay. You will find a safety deposit box for your valuable items, a fridge to store your favorite drinks, a kettle to make tea or coffee, and free wifi connection to stay connected at all times. The bathrooms, adjacent to each room, are all private, ensuring your privacy and comfort.
Our family has a great passion for trattorias. Here you can enjoy delicious dishes at affordable prices. All recipes are prepared with the aromas of grandma's kitchen. Our menu is varied and traditional, with a touch of creativity. We use only authentic ingredients and offer our house wine to accompany joyful moments.
Please note that we are closed on Sunday evenings and all day on Mondays.
La Botteghina, an old grocery store that has been around for over 70 years, is part of our family. Here you can find fresh bread every day, homemade cakes, and typical cured meats from the Grevigiano and Val di Chiana regions. We are open all day and happy to welcome our guests for a good glass of Chianti and tasty snacks. Additionally, inside La Botteghina, you will find a bar and a tobacco shop.
La Dispensa is a small shop overlooking the delightful Romanesque Church of Dudda. Here we store the sauces and gravies we prepare in our beloved family trattoria, La Botteghina di Dudda. La Dispensa is a refuge for local, artisanal products from friends, acquaintances, and businesses in the area. You can find spices, preserves, honey, ceramics, and handmade decorative items. Moreover, here you will find the good wine produced with dedication by the best farms in Dudda. La Dispensa is the place where we passionately and lovingly preserve our tradition.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Francesca and I was born in the wonderful city of Florence. Some time ago, due to my passion for tourism and country life, I decided to move to Chianti with my adorable daughter Lisa, who is currently 17 years old. I am someone who loves simple things and good food, to the extent that I personally cook together with my sister Mariella in our family trattoria. I am passionate about homemade preparations, and that is precisely why I opened a small shop in the square of Dudda, near the Church, called "La Dispensa". Inside La Dispensa, I offer my guests jars of sauces, preserves, and jams made entirely using traditional homemade methods. Additionally, La Dispensa is also a haven for locally crafted products by friends, acquaintances, and businesses in the area, such as ceramics, handmade decorative objects, and wines from the best surrounding farms. In my free time, I dedicate myself to my small garden, where I carefully cultivate delicious tomatoes, field chicories, and fresh shallots. This allows me to savor the true taste of nature.
My area is an ideal reference point for lovers of the Chianti Classico hills who wish to visit Tuscany. In a short time, you can reach the most important cities of art and culture such as Florence, Siena, and Arezzo, as well as the picturesque villages of Chianti such as Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gaiole, San Gimignano, and the delightful Volpaia, which represents the pearl of Chianti and which I always recommend my guests to visit. You can relax in the square and enjoy snacks and excellent wine at Paola's bar, surrounded by immense beauty. Our municipality is Greve in Chianti, and every year numerous initiatives and events are organized, including country festivals, evening markets, concerts, and the largest Chianti Classico wine showcase.
