Casa Albertieri is located just outside the walls of the historic center, almost in front of Porta Sottana, in a late 17th century building, built according to a typology widespread in Genoa at the time.
Inside, most of the original frescoes have been preserved, restoring the charm of the past to the traveler.
On the outside, the valuable bas-relief decorations are awaiting restoration.
The rooms are very large, as are the windows.
The floors are in mosaic, sown in the Genoese style.
From the rooms you can enjoy a view that reaches up to the Esterel massif, on the French Riviera, ranging from Menton to Monaco, to the Lerins islands.
In an excellent position to walk in a few minutes through a monumental pine forest to the scenic cliff of S. Ampelio and to explore the "Beodo" and its small but intricate "jungle", and then in the evening let yourself be guided by a trail of aromas, to one of the many restaurants in Bordighera Alta.
