I am Giuseppe, a practicing cardiologist. My wife Marina, a former intensive care nurse, is now the manager of our charming B&B. Our family includes our children: Agostino, a garden designer and free thinker; Luca, a computer scientist and campaign director for Avaaz; Alessandra, a physician and psychiatrist; and Enrico, an entrepreneur who owns a cocktail bar. We are a large family, but due to work and study commitments, we don’t get to gather often at our home in Sicily.
We decided to open the doors of our family home, Palazzo Nicotra, turning it into a charming bed and breakfast to provide our guests with a special and unforgettable vacation. This palace, built in the late 19th century by my grandfather's father, a wine merchant, is steeped in history and tradition. It is where I was born and raised, and now we want to share the beauty of our place with you.
The location is truly exceptional: we are close to the sea, the wonders of the Alcantara River, and not far from the majestic Mount Etna, as well as many of Sicily’s main attractions, such as the famous Taormina with its Greek theater, Syracuse with the ancient temples of Apollo, Zeus, and Athena, Ragusa, and other stunning Baroque cities.
During your stay, you will always find Marina and one of our family members ready to welcome and assist you. Get ready to enjoy an experience of complete relaxation, happiness, and joy, with great food, basking in the sun and by the sea. We are confident that you will appreciate our warm hospitality!
