"Amelia's House": Constructed in 1965 by my grandfather Gildo, who married Amelia on May 1st, 1943, after returning unharmed from the campaign in Russia. In 1952, they opened the San Carlo "dul Gildu" restaurant, and in 1968, they inaugurated the first supermarket in the town.
Grandmother Amelia, who became a widow in 1981, devoted all her patience to her son Luciano and her two grandchildren Elena and Pietro. A woman from another era, strict but wise and with a kind heart. Today, the first bed & breakfast of the town is born.. to keep the memory alive of a great woman, my grandmother Amelia!
Located in Arconate, a small city in the province of Milan, it is 22 km away from Malpensa, 28 km from Rho Fiera, and 35 km from Milan. An ideal position to escape the chaos of the city and reach the aforementioned places in just thirty minutes.
For those who wish to spend two or three days relaxing, there is the possibility to take long walks along the banks of the Villoresi canal or, just 10 km away, visit the Lombard Natural Park of the Ticino Valley.
Restaurant and Wine Bar available on the ground floor for guests.
Available for visitors: a Lavazza espresso coffee machine, a kettle to heat water, a selection of teas and herbal teas, biscuits and fresh pastries, cereals, yogurt, milk, fruit juices and jams.
The kitchen is fully available to visitors, ready to welcome them at any time of the day.

Today marks the birth of the country's first Bed and Breakfast, with the intention of keeping alive the memory of a great woman, my beloved grandmother Amelia!
