The “Butterfly” Bed & Breakfast is situated in Bagnoregio, Saint Bonaventure's birthplace. Bagnoregio is located half-way between Orvieto and Viterbo, which are respectively 18 km and 27 km far from the village. Bolsena Lake is only 10 km far away and it only takes an hour to reach Rome (100 km far), either by A1 or by the State route Cassia. At about 1 km away the tourist can admire and experience the intense and charming atmosphere of Civita di Bagnoregio, a characteristic medieval village immersed in a blooming nature and surrounded by the peculiar Valle dei Calanchi (argillaceous gullies, whose aspect and form undergo continual changes and crumbling due to wind and rain). The “Butterfly” Bed & Breakfast is a new building located near public sports facilities (tennis courts, athletics tracks, football grounds) and it consists of bright, independent rooms with private bathrooms; some of them also offer living room and TV. Furthermore, our guests can make use of our private parking. We serve a breakfast garnished with typical local products. Our guests can enjoy their stay in peace and quiet, far from the noise of traffic, and they can breathe the fresh, healthy breeze of our hills in the four rooms: MELITEA, LYCAENA, ANANEA and CHILDRENA.
