The property offers:
- A spacious double room called Toledo, named after the double bed designed by architect Tobia Scarpa. It has a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. A crib can be added for a child up to 4 years old.
- Breakfast is served exclusively for guests of this room.
- An apartment called Topazio consisting of a living room with a large sofa that can be transformed into a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom that can be set up with two single beds or a double bed, and a large bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is self-service.
- An apartment called Rubino consisting of a living room with a large sofa that can be transformed into a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is self-service.
Each apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and is the ideal solution for families, couples, or those who need to stay in Bologna for extended periods.
My breakfast is the perfect way to start the day with a smile, thanks to the selection of high-quality products, the passion I put into baking sweets and making jams, and the care I take in setting the table.
From 8:00 to 10:00, unless there are different needs, you can enjoy our delicious breakfast. Please inform us of any intolerances at the time of booking.

My name is Maria Ketty and for a good 18 years I have been passionately managing the Bologna nel Cuore B&B.
I come from a small village located in the wonderful Dolomites, but I have been living here in Bologna since I was 8 years old.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to deeply know and appreciate this city, and it is thanks to the love I feel for it that I had the idea to open the doors of my home to the world, offering a unique hospitality.
My welcome is simple and authentic, based on availability, a family warmth, and careful attention to each guest, always respecting their privacy.
Throughout these years, I have had the pleasure of hosting and sharing special moments with people from all over the world, from different cultures and ages. I always take care of their well-being, and I do it with love. After 18 years since the opening of Bologna nel Cuore, I still love welcoming my guests with the same warmth as always and with the same desire to share with them the wonders of Bologna, offering valuable suggestions to explore the city.
The Bologna in the heart B&B is located in the heart of the city's historic center, just a 5-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and the two towers.
In the immediate vicinity, you will find the stops for the main public transportation, connecting the center to all areas of the city and its surroundings.
Access to the restricted traffic area by car is allowed by communicating the vehicle's license plate to our staff, who will inform the urban mobility office. Additionally, we have a covered parking lot available for €20 per day. For further information regarding car access, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The central station can be reached in just 20 minutes by foot or in 10 minutes by bus number 25, which stops on Via Ugo Bassi, just 5 minutes from the Bologna in the heart B&B.
To conveniently reach the trade fair district, you can take bus number 28, which also stops on Via Ugo Bassi.
From the airport, you can easily reach us by taxi, with a cost ranging from €20 to €25, or by using the Marconi Express, a monorail train that will take you directly to the Central Station. The ticket for the Marconi Express costs €8 per person. From the Central Station, you can reach us by foot in 20 minutes or by bus number 25, which stops on Via Ugo Bassi, just 5 minutes from the Bologna in the heart B&B. During the weekend, you can also take bus number 30, which goes directly to Piazza Malpighi.
