Our B&B is the perfect place to stay as it is located in a strategic point of Valchiavenna. From here, you can go for a walk to the Fraggia Waterfalls, the historic center of Chiavenna, and the nearby Renaissance Palace of Vertemate Franchi. Moreover, you can engage in countless summer and winter sports activities in the untouched nature of the nearby Switzerland and the Spluga Valley!
We offer a breakfast filled with sweet and savory organic products for an international clientele. Additionally, we provide homemade desserts made by the owner. For guests with celiac disease, we offer specific products upon request.

The room is completely new, equipped with every comfort: independet entrance, private bathroom and extra bed. The two rooms are at ground floor; the parking is next to these. Inside the bedroom you can find a third bed. you can find a coffe machine, a fridge and a microwave.
It is a spacious and luminous monoroom with a double bed (or two single beds) and the possibility of one double bed-settee. Also available self-catering, fridge, TV. The bathroom is directly connected with the room.
The Vertemate Bed and Breakfast is located in Valchiavenna in Prosto di Piuro, a quiet and sunny area all year round, just over a kilometer from Chiavenna.
A stone's throw from the Vertemate B&B is the Vertemate Franchi Palace, one of the most interesting Renaissance villas in Lombardy, where you can also admire the renowned and picturesque Acquafraggia Waterfalls.
