Our Bed and Breakfast is located in Venice, an art city on the water, in an area rich in historical, architectural, and cultural landmarks. The structure offers a spectacular view and is located in the historic center of the city.
"B&B San Marco" is a prestigious yet low-cost residence where the sounds, scents, and emotions of the past reverberate. The style of the structure is unique, and the managers will welcome you like friends, providing useful information about the city.
The house is located in a central position, just 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco and next to the Scoletta di San Giorgio dei Schiavoni. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and enjoy a lovely view of a large canal. The environment is elegant but informal and welcoming. One room has a balcony and a private external bathroom with a dining area, while the other room has an ensuite bathroom (the third room is not currently rented out). The B&B is located on the third floor without an elevator.

We are Alice and Marco, a couple who own a bed & breakfast in Venice. Marco opened our B&B in 2002 after spending many years studying and working in Milan. Our property is located in the family home where Marco grew up, and where we used to stay as frequent guests before becoming owners. As a B&B family, we are proud to speak five different languages and to be passionate travelers. Our B&B offers an authentic experience of staying in Venice, avoiding the speculation that is transforming tourist cities. We have three guest rooms available, and we live in the same structure, on the upper floor and next to the rooms. We contribute to making the city lively and popular, offering guests the opportunity to feel like temporary residents, welcomed as friends to whom we explain all the secrets of Venice.
Area city center
The house is located in the very center, only 5 minutes from St. Mark's Square, but in a less touristy and more local area in the Castello district. The boat stop is S. Zaccaria if arriving by train or at the bus terminal, or Ospedale if coming from Venice airport. In total tranquility, the house overlooks one side of San Giorgio degli Schiavoni (Scola Dalmata, sort of confraternity), famous for its frescoes by Carpaccio, and a typical Venetian canal. From the rooms, which are tastefully furnished with antiques, you can enjoy a spectacular view over the canal, the bridge, the roofs, clock towers, and Venetian life. An ideal location for discovering the true Venice from the inside, thanks also to the friendly atmosphere and hospitality of Marco and Alice, who live upstairs and beside, giving you advice for an unforgettable holiday to fall in love with and in Venice.
