The tourist tax of the Municipality of Florence, as per current regulations, is not included in the rate and must be paid separately at check-in (the manager will then proceed to pay it to the relevant offices). The hosts speak fluent Italian, English, French.

This is a rental self-catering apartment and, in accordance with Italian laws, we cannot provide breakfast or meals, but you will find everything you need to cook and set the table: plates, glasses, cups, pots, oven, kettle, Moka coffee machine, toaster etc.

The owner is an agronomist and wine selector; he loves letterature, art & history, sports (expecially F1). He can help Hosts to discover the city and the surroundings.
He has furnished the house as he would like to find it when he travels: simple, functional, with everything you need and more! There are a lot of toys and table games forchildren and a small library available for Hosts.
Careggi is one of the oldest districts of the city, even though it is not in the historic center: Here Lorenzo the Magnificent had his artistic cenacle at the homonymous villa (located about 900 m from the apartment). Today Careggi is known above all for its modern hospital & University, and for this reason it is well connected and served by public transport and the new T1 line of the Tramway. Excellent choice of shops, supermarkets and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Other Medicean villas (Castello & Petraia) are located not far from the apartment (7 min. by car).
The city center and the SMN station are therefore easily accessible by public transport, as well as the airport (line T2 with interconnection to the SMN station). Free car parking at about 10 min. on foot from the apartment.
You can easily reach the apartment from the SMN station by tram line T1 to Ospedale di Careggi, then a 7-minute walk, or by taxi from the SMN station (15 minutes) or from Rifredi station (5 minutes) on foot or by taxi. Peretola Airport is only a 10-minute taxi ride away or by tram line T2 to Stazione SMN + tram line T1 to Ospedale di Careggi.
Please note that check-in is by appointment only, as we do not live on-site. Agreeing on an arrival time with us will save you from having to wait outside the door. Therefore, please let us know your arrival time at least 2-3 days in advance; if you arrive by train/plane, etc., at times that are not compatible with check-in, send us a message and ask if a late check-in is possible (subject to availability and an extra charge of 50 euros) by a maximum of 10: 00 PM and always by appointment only. Arrivals after 10: 00 PM are not possible. If you arrive by car, temporarily park near the house in non-resident spaces (blue lines) for a fee or in white lines (free), and then at check-in, we will show you where you can find 3 free public parking spaces 24/7, which are located about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
Remember that - according to Italian law - every guest must have an identity document (identity card/passport), including children.
