One of these is the exceptional cycle of evening openings of the Museum and Royal Park of Capodimonte, scheduled for September, October, and November 2025.
An exclusive experience: art illuminated at night
For four hours – from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm (last entry at 10:30 pm) – the museum opens its doors to a privileged audience. The ticket costs 12 euros, with discounts and free entry as provided by law. Young people up to 25 years old, as always, can enter with a reduced ticket of 2 euros.
The experience becomes even more suggestive thanks to the new energy-saving lighting, designed to enhance the masterpieces kept at Capodimonte and to create a unique atmosphere, made perfect by the air-conditioned rooms.
What you can visit
During these evening openings, it will be possible to visit the first two floors of the museum, rich in extraordinary works of Italian and European painting. The third floor, currently undergoing restoration and enhancement works concerning the Contemporary Art section and that dedicated to the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries, remains closed.
Dates to mark on your calendar
September: Friday 19 (already inaugurated on the occasion of San Gennaro) and Friday 26.
October: three appointments on Fridays, the 3rd, 10th, and 17th of October.
November: Saturday, November 29, extraordinary opening.
