Located just 4 km from Tirano, the charming bed & breakfast Il Grappolo has been converted from a renovated old barn. Here you can enjoy a cozy and comfortable stay, with rustic-style rooms equipped with free Wi-Fi. In addition to a large terrace where breakfast is served, the bed & breakfast also offers a lovely private garden with fruit trees. For mountain bike enthusiasts, we are in an ideal location to reach the Bernina, Aprica, and Mortirolo Passes. Furthermore, just 30 km away, you can visit the renowned Bormio Thermal Baths. The owner of the bed & breakfast speaks English, German, and French fluently, thanks to her experience gained abroad.

Our breakfast

To start your day off right, a rich and varied sweet/savory breakfast awaits you in our cozy dining room or on the spacious terrace. You can delight your taste buds with homemade cakes, authentic jams, bread, croissants, cookies, cereals, local cheeses and cold cuts, fruit juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, all accompanied by freshly prepared hot beverages (coffee, cappuccino, various teas, milk, hot chocolate) and, if desired, eggs as well. Additionally, you can enjoy this delicious breakfast while admiring the splendid view of the Orobie mountains.

After spending several years abroad, working in the tourism sector, I have finally fulfilled my dream of opening a B&B. In 2010, I brought to life "Grappolo," a cozy establishment converted from an old barn in Bianzone, which used to be my husband's grandparents' house. Thanks to this venture, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know people from every corner of the world, keeping my passion for foreign languages like English, German, and French alive. I am a travel enthusiast, photographer, and cook, and I find great joy in sharing these passions with my guests.

Bianzone is a charming village surrounded by apple orchards and vineyards, located on the Rhaetian side and always kissed by the sun. It is the perfect starting point for mountain bike enthusiasts, with breathtaking routes and itineraries. Just 3 km from the Swiss border and a 30-minute drive from Bormio, a renowned thermal resort. During the summer, by crossing Switzerland, it is possible to reach Livigno, a famous ski resort, in just a 30-minute drive from the "Il Grappolo" B&B.
