The Heart's Residence is located in Vieste, in a completely renovated building, situated in the heart of the town center, in a strategic position close to the main points of interest and the most beautiful beaches of Vieste. The Heart's Residence takes its name from its location at the foot of the characteristic "staircase of love". The staircase of love was created on the occasion of the first event "Vieste in Love", painting a staircase that connects the high door of the old town to Corso Fazzini, right next to the town hall of the Municipality of Vieste. On the steps of this particular staircase, the text of the song "The Legend of Pizzomunno and Cristalda" by Max Gazzè, presented at the Sanremo Festival 2018, is written. The song tells the legend of Pizzomunno, the white monolith located at the beginning of the beach to the south of Vieste, known as the "Castle" beach. Many people attribute a symbolic and magical meaning to this staircase, it is said that walking it together with your loved one means staying united forever, giving life to a modern and romantic legend that has made Vieste "the city of love".
