B&B De' Biffi

Bed & Breakfast in Firenze in the Duomo

The De' Biffi B&B is located on the second floor (with elevator) of an ancient building in the heart of the historic center of Florence, surrounded by its artistic and historical wonders. Just 100 meters from the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as the Duomo, and almost in front of the imposing statue of David, the famous masterpiece by Michelangelo. Recently renovated, the De' Biffi B&B offers comfort and a privileged location, making it the ideal choice for staying and experiencing this incredible city. In our delightful and welcoming B&B, you will find a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that will make you feel almost at home. What can we do for you besides guaranteeing a peaceful sleep? For example, we can organize guided tours of the city and the Chianti region, advise and book the museums that interest you the most, and help you choose the most enjoyable shopping route. Additionally, we can stimulate your appetite by suggesting a selection of the best bars and restaurants in the historic center. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza da Basso, frequent venues for national and international exhibitions and events. The Santa Maria Novella train station, from which the main connections to visit the city and the whole of Tuscany depart, and the shuttles to the "Amerigo Vespucci" International Airport in Florence and "Galileo Galilei" in Pisa, are also easily accessible. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The B&B is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). If you are traveling by car, upon your arrival you can take advantage of a paid secure garage located about 100 meters away. ATTENTION: To access the ZTL, it is necessary to register the vehicle's license plate on the Municipality's portal. This operation can be carried out by the B&B upon communication of the license plate or at the affiliated garage.

Area Duomo

Just 200 meters away, you will find the brand new and spacious Museum of the Opera Florence, inaugurated on October 29, 2015. This museum houses the most extraordinary collection in the world of sculptures dating back to the Middle Ages and the Florentine Renaissance. Additionally, you cannot miss the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its impressive Brunelleschi Dome, the charming Giotto's Bell Tower, the magnificent Baptistery of San Giovanni, and the ancient Crypt of Santa Reparata. If you haven't admired these wonders, then you haven't truly seen Florence.
