The Baita Tana da l’Ors welcomes you with its authentic atmosphere and the warmth of rustic simplicity, offering a vacation centered around relaxation and nature. Situated entirely on one level, the cabin features well-appointed and comfortable spaces. The living area is the heart of the home, complete with a fully equipped kitchen that includes gas burners, a refrigerator, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and dishware. A charming brick stove, fueled by wood, heats the entire cabin, creating a cozy ambiance thanks to the wooden paneling that enhances comfort. Firewood, provided by the owners, is available outside the house.
The two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds, are tastefully furnished and come with linens and towels to make you feel right at home. The bathroom, equipped with a shower and electric water heater, completes the interior, ensuring privacy and convenience.
Outside, the cabin features a furnished barbecue area, perfect for outdoor meals surrounded by greenery, and a dedicated parking spot. The property is enclosed by three hectares of fenced land, divided between meadows and woods, offering breathtaking views of the Val d’Arzino and Val Tagliamento. Majestic Monte Cuar and Monte Flagjel rise in the background, locations that inspired singer Elisa Toffoli for the video of her song "A modo tuo," with her autograph displayed on the door of one of the rooms.

The Baita Tana da l'Ors is situated approximately 600 to 700 meters from the center of the charming Monte Prat plateau, in the Cjondorar area, within the municipality of Forgaria nel Friuli (UD). This captivating region lies at the border of the historic provinces of Udine and Pordenone, providing breathtaking views of the entire hilly landscape and the Friulian plain. The environment here is completely pristine and free from pollution, at an altitude that is easily accessible for people of all ages. These features make the area perfect for low-impact sports, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nature in a relaxed manner.
A network of well-marked and mapped trails extends from the Monte Prat plateau in various directions, leading up to Monte Cuar and Monte Flagjel along the ridges of the Central Friulian Prealps. This natural setting creates a unique connection between the alpine peaks and the Adriatic Sea. Alternatively, one can reach the capital, Forgaria nel Friuli, by following ancient paths once used for transhumance, enjoying stunning views of the Tagliamento River, which offers opportunities for pleasant walks of varying lengths that are always enjoyable and never overly strenuous.
