The chalet, built with warm larch wood, will welcome you like an ancient "tabià" but with a modern design that harmoniously blends with the surrounding environment, thanks to its large windows that allow you to admire nature even from the inside. This is the result of the experience passed down from generation to generation by our family of loggers, who have always had a deep connection with this land and especially with these woods.
The two spacious terraces overlooking the surrounding mountains will allow you to enjoy the sun in every season of the year. The bright windows that open on three sides will make you feel completely immersed in nature, while you relax next to the warmth of the fireplace in the spacious lounge.
Baita Deona offers four comfortable recently built rooms, very bright and meticulously cared for in every detail. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and offers a panoramic view. The stay includes a rich breakfast served at the bar. Pets are allowed, Baita Deona is pet friendly!
Our bar, with homemade sweets, is the ideal place to start your day dedicated to excursions in the surroundings. It is also a mandatory meeting point to refresh yourself after a day on the ski slopes or at the end of your adventures, offering snacks and quick dishes. If you prefer a more refined dinner, you can enjoy typical local dishes in our restaurant.
In your breakfast, you can't miss the delicious homemade bread, accompanied by butter and jam. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to taste typical sweets such as strudel or buckwheat cake. A captivating view accompanies us, we love our mountain during the summer, where it is possible to go on excursions for both the experienced and the less adventurous. During the winter, the well-groomed cross-country trail offers a unique route, even illuminated at night, for the most tenacious. It will be fun to explore the woods with snowshoes or ski mountaineering. We are able to recommend unique and unforgettable itineraries. The Baita Deona is located at the top of the charming Cibiana Pass, just a few minutes from the picturesque village of Cibiana di Cadore, famous for its fascinating Murals. Additionally, it is only 50 meters away from the starting point for Mount Rite, where you can visit the prestigious Messner Mountain Museum.
