The "Bed & Breakfast" was created by completely renovating an ancient country house dating back to the late 1600s, in accordance with Valdostan and mountain traditions and with special attention to the environment. A wood and pellet heating system was installed, with hot water produced by solar panels, to preserve the surrounding environment.
Over the years, a part of the house was used as a "Vicarage", from which the name of the structure derives, and as a nursery and school for the children of the village. The other part included a stable and stone cellars, one of which has been carefully restored. Additionally, there is a typical dwelling with "Peillo" and "Méson" and an overlying barn.
During the restoration works, original prints were found, along with their descriptions, of historical costumes from Valtournenche, which had been lost, as well as numerous other costumes from Valdostan folklore.
The 3 double or twin rooms are equipped with private bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. They are artisanally furnished with wood and objects recovered from the ancient house. The wooden floors, exposed beams, stone walls, and rough plaster, together with the warm duvets and fabrics used, contribute to creating a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, typical of mountain houses. Each room has a TV and it is possible to connect to the internet with one's own PC in the common entrance area.
Smoking and pets are not allowed. Additionally, there is a private garden available for relaxation and sunbathing.
