The Arco del Lauro Bed and Breakfast is located on the ground floor of an 18th-century building, next to the Tolomei tower. The namesake arch, located next to the entrance, offers one of the most fascinating views of medieval Rome from the 14th century. It provides a modern and welcoming environment that blends perfectly with the characteristic atmosphere of Trastevere, with today's taste and comfort.
Its location within the neighborhood is strategic: it is close to the Tiber Island bridge, allowing you to reach the archaeological center of Rome on foot in a few minutes. It is secluded from the noisy and crowded squares of Rome's nightlife, offering tranquility and a unique atmosphere. It is so close to the vibrant heart of the neighborhood that will make you feel part of it.

Our breakfast
The morning service is organized at one of Trastevere's most historic bars, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of medieval Rome in one of the city's most characteristic squares. The bar, located next to our B&B, offers a typical Italian breakfast consisting of delicious cappuccinos and fresh pastries. Throughout most of the year, you can sit at the outdoor tables to immediately enjoy the fantastic climate of the city. The breakfast service has no time limits. Additionally, upon request, you can choose an international breakfast with ham, cheese, omelettes, and fresh orange juice for an additional fee of only 7€.

We are located in the heart of Trastevere, one of the oldest and most picturesque neighborhoods in Rome, as well as one of the most central and lively. In fact, just a short walk from here, you can easily reach places such as the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forums, the Capitol, and even the Vatican.
The Arco del Lauro is situated in front of the Tiber Island, on the opposite bank of the river from the ghetto, in the medieval part of Trastevere, considered by Romans to be the most elegant and authentic.
Even today, it is possible to find workshops of artisans, historic shops, and traditional restaurants, in addition to the numerous typical bars, small restaurants, and boutiques that have opened in recent years.
