Situated in the charming countryside of Reggio Emilia, our establishment is located in an ancient farmhouse typical of the area, which has been carefully restored to preserve its original features. Nevertheless, we have integrated modern comforts to ensure the utmost well-being of our guests. The Ministry of Cultural Heritage has recognized the historical importance of the farmhouse, imposing certain restrictions.
The furniture, mainly in wood and in the "arte povera" style, is simple and essential, yet extremely characteristic. This choice contributes to creating the authentic atmosphere of a period residence, a title that the Antico Casale Caroli boasts thanks to its unique structural characteristics.
The part of the establishment reserved for guests includes:
- Five spacious double rooms, including three Junior Suites and two Suites. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, desk, wardrobe or clothes rack, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The two larger rooms also include a comfortable sofa bed, allowing for up to four people to be accommodated.
- A large communal lounge, located in the former cellar, is used as the breakfast area and relaxation room. This space also houses the reception and is equipped with tables, a fireplace, and a cozy seating area. Adjacent to the lounge, there are two bathrooms, one of which is accessible to guests with disabilities.
- An outdoor porch, ideal for enjoying breakfast and moments of relaxation during the spring and summer months.
- Guests can also enjoy a large outdoor park.
- Reserved parking is available for guests.
With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, we have adopted the use of renewable energy sources to meet the energy needs of the establishment:
- A 12 kW photovoltaic system, integrated with photovoltaic tiles. Our system has been recognized in the Legambiente's Virtuous Municipalities yearbook.
- An advanced heating, filtering, and air conditioning system based on a Toshiba heat pump, which is extremely efficient and has a low environmental impact.
- Hot water production is carried out through a combined system of solar panels and heat pumps.
