The Countryhouse-B&B Antica dimora del Sole was created through the meticulous restoration of an ancient farmhouse dating back to the late 18th century. Located in the Cilento National Park, just 9 km from the beautiful coast of Marina di Camerota and 18 km from Palinuro, the property is close to important artistic sites such as the Certosa di Padula and the Velia Archaeological Site, as well as wonderful natural oases. This country house has witnessed historical moments during the "Cilentani insurrectionary movements of 1928," when some conspirators and resistance martyrs frequented the dwelling. The family of Canon Maria Antonio De Luca, who was part of the group, was even executed by King Francesco di Borbone. The house is spread over three floors. From the parking area, a staircase leads to the entrance of the reception area on the first floor, along with a dining room, a bar corner, and a kitchen. Outside the first floor, a porch surrounds two panoramic terraces where breakfast and our authentic dinners, prepared with locally sourced zero-kilometer products, are served during the beautiful season. On the upper floors, there are the bedrooms, divided into three types: double, triple, and a suite apartment consisting of two double/twin rooms with a bathroom and a relaxation corner on the external balcony at the entrance of the suite. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, some are air-conditioned (those on the upper floor with wooden ceilings), while the others, located on the intermediate floor, are naturally cool thanks to the stone walls. Convenient fans are available if needed. The hilly location of the property ensures pleasant coolness even during the hottest days, offering a peaceful rest after a day at the seaside or an intense mountain excursion.
