Our B&B Al Mercato di Ortigia is a 3-star accommodation, with rooms furnished with care and originality, equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Additionally, guests can enjoy the breakfast and reading room, where they can find ample informational material and board games. We also have a space for storing bicycles for cyclists.
We offer a rich breakfast, which can include gluten-free options or "strengthening" dishes for hikers, upon request.
We are able to provide you with all the necessary information and practical advice to discover this wonderful place, including detailed maps and suggestions on sports activities you can practice, such as biking, climbing, diving, and trekking. We also have a space dedicated to storing bicycles for cyclists.
The structure is easily reachable by car and offers a good possibility of parking, with free white stripe parking areas and paid blue stripe parking areas, in addition to the Talete parking nearby.
We also offer a vacation home, the Casa del Corso, a comfortable apartment located on the first floor of a 1930s building on the main street of the Ortigia island, just a few steps from our B&B. The apartment consists of an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and two large double bedrooms with the possibility of adding extra beds, equipped with a ceiling fan or gas stove, a relaxation area with armchairs, Wi-Fi, TV, and drying rack. We also have a space dedicated to storing bicycles for cyclists. From the terrace of the building, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the roofs and sea of Ortigia. The rate includes linen, weekly cleaning and linen change, as well as all expenses and final cleaning.
We offer our guests a delicious breakfast with a selection of fruit juices, homemade jams by Antonella, butter, fresh bread, and Sicilian sweets. Additionally, for those who prefer savory options, we offer cold cuts, eggs, and seasonal fruits. Of course, there are also hot beverage options like tea, coffee, and milk. For our hiking guests, we offer reinforced breakfasts to give you the energy you need for your adventure. And for those who suffer from celiac disease, our family is informed about the issue and we are able to offer a gluten-free breakfast.

La Casa del Corso is a comfortable apartment on the first floor on the main road of Ortigia island, the historic center of Syracuse.
