"All'Antica Fonte" is a cozy bed and breakfast located in a small hamlet just a few steps from the center of the town of Forgaria in Friuli (UD). It has two carefully furnished rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, both made with natural materials.
The bathroom, equipped with a bathtub and/or shower, is shared between the rooms. Breakfast, included in the room price, is Italian-style and includes baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, butter, jam, tea and/or coffee, milk, and apple juice obtained from apples grown directly near the B&B. During the summer months, breakfast can be enjoyed outdoors, while enjoying the beautiful panoramic view of the Val Tagliamento and the gentle moraine hills that extend towards the Pordenone foothills.
Please note that the use of the kitchen is not available, but there is an uncovered private parking area for our guests. We are confident that our B&B is the ideal place to spend a pleasant stay in Friuli, surrounded by nature and tranquility.
The breakfast included in the room rate is Italian-style and consists of delicious baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, butter, jam, tea and/or coffee, milk, and freshly squeezed apple juice made from apples grown directly nearby the B&B. Additionally, to accommodate the dietary needs of our guests, specific lactose-free, gluten-free, or other intolerance-free products are available upon request, or guests can choose to have a savory breakfast.

The Lake of the Three Municipalities (or Cavazzo Lake) is perfect for sailing, while the unspoiled beaches of the Tagliamento River are unique in Europe for their natural characteristics.
You can comfortably explore art cities such as Spilimbergo, famous for its mosaics, Maniago with its renowned cutlery, the medieval towns of Gemona and Venzone, the homeland of San Daniele Friulian ham, the Lombard city of Cividale, the star-shaped Palmanova, the historic Aquileia, and the Friulian Christian roots. Alternatively, you can enjoy the mountains of Tarvisiano and Carnia or relax in Piancavallo.
For food and wine lovers, there are many destinations to visit. For example, you can go to Pinzano al Tagliamento-Valeriano, an area rich in wineries where you can taste delicious Friulian wines, or go to Cormons and Collio, where you can delight your palate with local cheeses and organic honey.
Don't forget that this region is a stone's throw away from Slovenia and Austrian Carinthia.
For lunches and dinners, guests can choose from the numerous restaurants and farmhouses in the area, where they can taste genuine foods and dishes, rich in flavor but simple in ingredients.
