Hello everyone! I'm Monica, a 55-year-old Milanese. I have been living in this house since I was born. It was built by my grandparents in the 1950s when this area of Milan was surrounded by meadows. Today, I share this house with my family: my husband and our two children, Matteo and Martina. The latter is a true expert in the city's artistic attractions, thanks to her degree in cultural heritage and art history. In 2014, we decided to transform a part of our house into a cozy Bed and Breakfast. We wanted to have the opportunity to meet new people from different parts of Italy and the world, especially during the EXPO 2015. Before dedicating myself to the B&B, I worked for over 20 years in waste management, environmental issues, and environmental education, both as an employee and as a freelancer. I used my experience to create a welcoming and sustainable structure, using eco-friendly materials and products, without neglecting comfort and practicality.
