Rome Street is one of the most renowned streets in Verona, elegantly connecting the Arena to the Castle and hosting the century-old Philharmonic Theatre. Along Rome Street, you can find numerous shops and bars where you can relax and enjoy a great aperitif, perhaps accompanied by the sound of violins and street artists' bows who often pay us a visit. A few steps away from Piazza Bra' and the rest of the city center, you can simply stroll and shop, but also visit exhibitions, museums, churches, basilicas, theaters, squares, and monuments that tell the story of our city. The area is well served by the bus line for those who wish to visit the Lake, the Torricelle, or go to the nearby amusement park of Gardaland in Peschiera del Garda. For the little ones, it is fun to take the little train from Piazza Bra', which in about 20 minutes touches the main points of interest in Verona. A carriage ride through the streets of Verona is very romantic for lovers. There is no shortage of ice cream parlors to enjoy excellent gelato. For example, on Mazzini Street, we find Patagonia, on Rome Street, Savoia, or a little further away, at the end of Marconi Street, Gelateria Romana, which we personally adore. There are playgrounds for children nearby. The area is absolutely safe and monitored, but attention must never be lacking :)
