"La Foresteria" is a charming fragment of history suspended in the heart of Valdichiana, where guests can experience the rural atmosphere of the past with stone walls, vaults, arches, and wooden beams. The ancient farmhouse dating back to the 1700s has recently been expanded with a new Leopoldina-inspired structure, which houses a hall, a meeting room, and 7 brand-new rooms. The structure offers different types of rooms, with different finishes and furnishings to meet the needs of various guests. Our trattoria is a classic family-run restaurant that has been focusing on traditional cuisine for 40 years: homemade pasta, wood-fired focaccia, mushrooms and strictly grilled meat. In winter, the fireplace warms up the beautiful ground floor dining room, while in summer you can enjoy our dishes in the large garden, steeped in tradition and using only quality ingredients from the area. In addition to typical Tuscan dishes such as ribollita, crostini, pici, wild boar, and florentine steak, we recommend trying the Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, offered in classic versions such as margherita, marinara, and with fresh tomato.
