Hello! I am Riccardo. I am a 6 year old boy and I live in Mantua. My house is very beautiful and is close to the tea gardens. When it's sunny, I go to play with the other children and we have a lot of fun because these gardens are very big and I can run, ride a bike or play football.
My mom thought of having a "bed and breakfast" in our house: I don't know what it means, but my dad explained to me that it's like a nest that is always ready for birds that come from far away and want to sleep. I am very happy because when the guests arrive, I accompany them to the rooms. My dad painted the whole house and my mom made the curtains for the windows and doors instead. They prepared everything, even the television for each room, and stuck photographs of Mantua on the wall.

We are like that, we have hospitality in our blood.
We are Marco and Mariangela and we cannot help but take care of those who knock on the door of our Bed and Breakfast in Mantua!
We try to make those who are not at home feel at home, we often succeed.
And the satisfaction is great.
MANTOVA is a city rich in history, testified by squares, palaces and numerous museums, it has linked its name to the Gonzagas, lords of Mantua from 1300 to 1600.
Today's Mantua preserves the charm that inspired Virgil's poetry, the austere medieval architecture, the grandeur of Gonzaga's monuments, the majestic elegance of eighteenth-century art and the painful memories of the nineteenth-century Austrian domination.
It is a small city of great artistic beauties and a past that is difficult to match.
In the surrounding area we also recommend a visit to the parks of Mincio, Bertone, Sigurtà and Bosco Fontana. Nearby you can visit the Sanctuary of Grace where the famous Madonnari masters perform every year, the ancient Abbey of Polirone in San Benedetto Po, Sabbioneta, Castel d'Ario, the birthplace of the legendary pilot Tazio Nuvolari.
The eno-gastronomic itineraries where you can taste the wines of the morainic hills, the rosé wines or the sparkling Lambrusco are also interesting. There are numerous trattorias and restaurants offering typical Mantuan dishes such as risotto alla pilot, pumpkin tortelli, truffle specialties, stews, game and the famous Sbrisolona cake.
