We are Marinella and Vincenzo, and we have always loved living in the peacefulness of the countryside. However, our jobs required us to spend most of the day in the city (Marinella in Milan and Vincenzo in Pavia). In 2004, we started a B&B called Le Betulle, while still maintaining our jobs. Then, finally in 2008, with the opening of La Certosa B&B, we decided to dedicate ourselves completely to managing the B&B and the guesthouse. In 2010, there was a turning point with the addition of 3 bungalows and later 3 more rooms, becoming Agri Village Pavia, a small tourist village. Marinella and Vincenzo would be delighted to host you in their establishment with a warm and welcoming family-like atmosphere.
We are located in Certosa di Pavia, in a small agricultural village just a few minutes away from the namesake monastery, which is one of the most important monuments of late Italian Gothic architecture. In a strategically located area, here are the main attractions: just 6 km away, you can visit Pavia, rich in history and architecture, an important stop on the Via Francigena. At 10 km, you can reach the Ticino Park, which can be visited in many ways: on foot, by bike, by canoe, by carriage, on horseback.. there are countless itineraries. Crossing the famous Barche di Bereguardo Bridge, one of the last pontoon bridges in Italy, you can reach the beautiful city of Vigevano (famous for its Piazza Ducale). 25 km to the south, you head towards the Oltrepò Pavese, an area divided between plains, hills, and mountains with a pleasant variety of landscapes. There are seventy-eight municipalities, each of which carries with it a historical, artistic and cultural heritage, especially with suggestive medieval villages, towers and castles. Among the vineyards of these hills, many wines with famous and undisputed quality names are produced.
