In a peaceful oasis, just 3 km from Otranto, you will find Scalelle Farmstay: the perfect place to spend an authentic vacation in a real farmhouse and savor the traditional dishes of Salento cuisine.
Surrounded by twenty hectares of greenery and nature, you will find cozy accommodations, ample parking, a playground, a soccer field, a dining room, and a fantastic mini zoo: a journey that will introduce you to geese, piglets, cows, Tibetan goats, ostriches, llamas, and many other animals that will make our little guests happy.
Morning breakfast: a delightful choice for every taste! Each morning, you will wake up to a wide selection of pastries and tarts, cold cuts, eggs prepared in various ways, jams, cheeses of every kind, fresh fruit, and many other specialties! All strictly made by us. Coffee, tea, fruit juices, and herbal teas, along with our freshly milked milk from our cows, complete our extensive breakfast buffet that, together with the smiles of our staff, will brighten your day from the very beginning.
The highlight of our farmhouse is our Restaurant, a true feast of flavors from the typical Salento cuisine, prepared with products from our certified "ORGANIC" farm: we will delight you with an endless variety of appetizers, including fresh cheese, potato croquettes, pittule, breaded zucchini, and other delicacies. Orecchiette, maccheroncini, sagne incannulate, mashed fava beans and wild chicory, eggplant parmigiana, chicken cacciatore, and grilled meats are just some of our specialties. The RESTAURANT is open for lunch only on Saturdays and Sundays in April and May. From June to September, instead, we open every evening from 7:30 pm to 11 pm.
