You will spend the night in a historic building, located on the ruins of an ancient secret passage that once connected Govone Castle to the Royal Chapel of the Savoy Family. When you open the door to your room, you will find yourself immersed in the park of one of the former residences of the noble Savoy family. You can enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace during aperitif hour, admiring the sunset over the hills of Roero. We often joke with friends, saying that we have a whole Royal Garden at our disposal. Of course, it's not true. The garden is open to the public, although it is very peaceful.
We are happy to tell you that our children have grown up playing every day in the large green area that surrounds the Castle and passes right in front of the entrance of the B&B Agorà. The park, with its avenues and gardens, is the ideal place to spend an afternoon with family and allow the little ones to play freely. We know this well.
The B&B Agorà is located on the remains of an ancient secret gallery that once connected the Savoy Castle to the Royal Chapel of Queen Maria Cristina and King Carlo Felice. This place, rich in history and elegance, welcomes guests in its two rooms, which are named after this fascinating historical event.
The Maria Cristina room, with a private bathroom, is the favorite of couples looking for relaxation and romance. Located on the first floor and on the left side of the B&B Agorà, it offers its guests a relaxing view of the Castle park and the historic building that once housed the Savoy Orangery.

The Carlo Felice suite consists of a double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a beautiful living room with a table, chairs, leather sofa bed, and a relaxation area with a multilingual library. From the bedroom window, you can breathe the fresh air of the park and admire the former Savoy Orangery; from the private balcony of the living room, overlooking the main square of the town, you can admire the Castle walls.

The rooms at B&B Agorà are furnished with modern design, equipped with a hydromassage shower (in the suite), free wifi, refrigerator, kettle with tea and herbal teas, Lavazza coffee machine, towels, hairdryer, and safe.
Parking is available in the square below B&B Agorà and daily cleaning service is included in the price. Accommodation is free for children under 3 years old.

Dear guests, we are Vito, Maria, Gioele, and Mattia, and we will be delighted to welcome you to our Agorà Bed & Breakfast.
Our story began back in 1971 when we met and discovered our passion for art. After attending the Vittorio Veneto Art High School in Turin, each of us went our separate ways: Vito joined Miroglio Tessile in Alba, becoming the head of the product office in the Sublitex division, while Maria chose to dedicate herself to teaching Art and Image.
Over the years, we had the joy of becoming parents to two children, Mattia and Gioele, who followed in our footsteps by graduating from the Pinot Gallizio Art High School in Alba and subsequently enrolling in the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.
In 2013, captivated by the fascinating history of our building, we decided to renovate the uninhabited wing, and after two years of intense work, we inaugurated the B&B Agorà in 2015.

Govone is a charming village in Piedmont with approximately two thousand inhabitants, located in the splendid region of Roero, on the border with Asti's Monferrato and the hills of Langhe.
The historic center of Govone revolves around the majestic Castle, a medieval fortress rebuilt in the 18th century, which was the temporary residence of the young Jean Jacques Rousseau in 1730 and later a sumptuous residence of the Savoy family from 1792 to 1870. The Castle of Govone is one of the twenty-three Savoy residences in Piedmont, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. The building can be visited every Sunday from March to October, while the gardens and park are open all year round and freely accessible.
Thanks to its deep food and wine culture and the breathtaking landscapes created by man for vine cultivation, the wine regions of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato were recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in June 2014. From these protected lands, some of the finest Italian wines are born, such as the famous Barolo, the refined Barbaresco, the elegant Asti Spumante, and the vibrant Barbera d'Asti.
The natural landscape of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato offers numerous trails that allow you to immerse yourself completely in nature and reach panoramic terraces with spectacular views.
