The guest house Il Ponte is a 5-minute drive from the historic center of Lucca and 50 meters from the river park of the Serchio River, where you can reach the city in 20 minutes by bike by cycling along the riverbanks. It is highly recommended for those who love cycling to bring their own bike. For the more daring, on the opposite side of the river, you can also reach the sea by cycling 21 km along the cycle path of the Serchio River. Fantastic excursions are available very close to our property. Pisa is a 20-minute drive away, as well as Versilia. The Garfagnana with its villages and lakes, including the Grotta del Vento, Barga (a medieval village awarded the Orange Flag), Castelnuovo Garfagnana, and the beautiful lakes of Isola Santa, Gramolazzo and Vagli di Sotto, can be reached in a 40-minute journey. Pistoia and Montecatini Terme are just over half an hour away, while Florence is 55 minutes away.
