Our hospitality facility is located approximately 1 km from the charming medieval village of Magliano in Tuscany. This ancient village is a perfect example of a 14th-century urban settlement, with many historical landmarks inside. For example, the mayor's palace with its coats of arms on the facade is a true gem. Magliano is surrounded by imposing medieval walls that can be walked along, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Inside the village, three 11th-century Romanesque churches are of great historical and artistic interest, with frescoes by famous Sienese artists from the 15th century. Along the main street of the town, there is a small archaeological museum that preserves objects dating back to the Etruscan period, coming from the necropolises located near Magliano. Less than 1 km from the town center, in the open countryside, it is possible to visit the ancient monastery of S. Bruzio, an example of Lombard Romanesque architecture. Despite being in ruins today in the terminal part of the presbytery, this site offers the opportunity to take a pleasant walk in the open air among centuries-old olive trees, where nature and culture merge in a unique experience. A few kilometers from Magliano, it is possible to visit other historically significant towns such as Pitigliano, Sovana, and Sorano, which are approximately a 40-minute drive away.
